Bayern striker Schlaudraff headed to Hannover

Munich, Germany (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - German international Jan Schlaudraff has
agreed to a transfer from Bayern Munich to Hannover this summer.
Schlaudraff, 24, has signed a four-year contract to say with Hannover through
2012. Terms of the transfer were not disclosed.
"We looked for someone to strengthen our attack and have found in Jan the
perfect addition," Hannover sporting director Christian Hochstatter told the
team's website.
Schlaudraff just joined Bayern last season, but the young striker was stuck
behind Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski. He will rejoin former
coach Dieter Hecking, who was at Aachen when Schlaudraff played there.
"I obviously know Jan very well and I am convinced that his abilities will
help us," Hecking said.
Schlaudraff is excited about his future with Hannover.
"I am convinced that Hannover 96 for the next few years has good prospects,"
he said, "and I hope that I am personally under coach Hecking athletic further
develop."
